Founded as Southern Engine and Pump Company in 1908, DXP was re-chartered in 1979 as Sepco Industries and renamed DXP Enterprises, Inc. in 1996. Chase CMMS is just one of the many services offered by DXP, and is offered as both a stand-alone CMMS service, or as part of an integrated Supply Chain Services implementation. Originally created in 1999 as a client/server based application, the application was later converted to a web-based service that is hosted and maintained by DXP IT personnel. This cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) offering allows clients to have a fully functional CMMS system without the need for expensive IT resources.
